World's First Carbon Neutral Family Sized 4x4 Expedition Vehicle.

The "ECO" What?!?

Many people take a look at The EcoRoamer, and their first thought is: "How can that possibly be Eco?" - However, the EcoRoamer is an amazing lesson in not judging a book by the cover. The vehicle's engine runs entirely on 100% BioFuel (whenever we can get it, which so far has been usually), while the camper runs entirely on solar energy and waste heat generated by the engine. The construction of the camper is made entirely with recycled and sustainable materials, such as: counters made out of recycled paper, cabinetry made out of bamboo, and then shell made out of a recycled plastic & aluminum composite. Any carbon dioxide that we do produce (both in building and running the EcoRoamer) are offset by an equivalent amount through windpower energy.

The camper itself has three permanent beds, a full kitchen, and a very stylish composting toilet. The EcoRoamer is our home, our office and our schoolhouse - as we take our family on an overland adventure; exploring and volunteering around the planet.

THE TRAVEL CHANNEL

In 2012, the Travel Channel featured The Ecoroamer and our overland expedition on their Killer RV's show.
